I believe

My dear,

I know you always want to be number one.  I also always want to be number one.

The only thing I want you to know is you do your best and the rest is up to God.  A few years ago, your uncle and myself both got sick.  We both want to be number one.  Your uncle wants to start a new company and be the CEO.  I want to be number one in my department.

What I learn from this lesson is

A.  Have compassion for yourself.

      Things don't always work out as you expect.  If you really want something and it didn't work out.  (You did your best).  I would recommend you to pray a lot.  Give yourself credit that you accomplish part A and part B but you still need Lord's help to finish part C.  If you didn't see any help, then congratulate on yourself that you finish part A and part B.  When God gives permission, then part C will be complete.

B.  Have peace

     I would recommend to have peace.  I know it's great when things work out well and your adrenal is pumping.  When things don't work well, the heart sinks.  I think you should pray that you have peace.  I personally do meditation.  (Breath in and breath out).  Your uncle learn to go to big Christian conference to relax.  He learns to take photo or work in the garden to relax.  He learns to play electrical guitar to relax.  I learn to breath in and breath out and look around me.  (enjoy each moment).  I learn to tell myself, "all is well".

C.  Be grateful

    When I look at you, I am grateful. When God give you to us, the birth process has been a miracle.  I am grateful to have you here.  I want to say the same thing to you.  Be grateful to have a wonderful family.  Be grateful that God is looking after you.  Be grateful that you live in a country that has lots of freedom.

Your uncle tells his 18 years old son before he goes to college that there's a family stand behind him.  He hopes success means helping people when they are in need.

I know it's true that I wish you to go to a good college and I wish you to have 健康, 幸運, 美滿, 快樂 life.  I also want to tell you when you're able, it' good to help other just like your mom.
