(on the way back, tiger heard someone crying.)

tiger:  why are you crying
lion:    I want everyone to like me

tiger:  why do you want that
lion:    I feel easier when everyone likes me

tiger:   (sigh)
lion:    (stop crying)
           (pause)
           (looking up)
           why are you sighing

tiger:   because I want the same thing

A lot of times, we want to be like by others.
We do things to make people like us.

I think the first step is to first love ourselves as we are.

philosophy

A:  what is the goal for life?
B:  To love others including myself

A:  what?
B:  To be kind to others including myself

A:  what?
B:  To be happy

A:  well, what do i need to do?

A lot of times, we know we want to be happy.
But sometimes we ask how?
One of the way to lead to happiness is to be kind to yourself.

The kid

parent: you must finish your homework (the voice is harsh)
child:   (his head goes down)

parent: what's wrong
child:    i am scare..

parent: oh..
            (thought for a moment)
            (hug the child)

child:   (the child feel easier and begin doing his homework.)

Somehow the society teaches us that we need to be tough to get result.
Some kids can take it and some kids can't.

The dog

(Tom just let a dog passed by on the street.)

David:  why are you afraid
Tom:     I am not afraid
David:  (smile) who do you step back and let the dog pass
Tom:     because I want to

Tell yourself as if you tell your best friend

It's ok.
It has already passed.
You have done the best you can at that moment.

Give yourself a chance

(Tom always follow Jimmy when go to social event)

A: there is a party
B: anyone going

A: Our whole group (Jack, me and Ronald) are going.
B: oh, count me in.

Praise yourself when you're with friends. 
Praise yourself when you're alone. 
Give yourself credit in either case. :)
