Courage

Dear one,

I applaud you for buying a ladder and for going up the roof.

It takes courage to do something that you are not familiar with.

I know it will get easier and easier

Louise Hay:

I RETURN TO THE BASICS OF LIFE: FORGIVENESS, COURAGE, GRATITUDE, LOVE, AND HUMOR.

Joel Osteen

Our dreams are often about experiencing a better life, about achieving greater things ... they are pictures we have of the future that reveal a part of our lives that will be greater than the past.
It takes courage to dream

Listen to your heart

Dear one,

The truth of the matter is where your heart belongs.
When you speak from your heart, things will turn out alright.

Dad

"…The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."

Joel Osteen
Today, listen to your heart. Take time to be still and quiet before the Lord. Allow Him to teach you what to say. As you submit your words and ways to Him, He will direct your path and lead you into victory in every area of your life!

Louise hay:
as we go about our day, it is easier for us to consciously connect when we sit quietly and listen

Always Love you

Dear Dad,

Than you for being my Dad.

I appreciate your love for me.

Before you go,
you ask me to find a good friend
who can give me good advice just like you did.

I found them.
In my heart, you are my best friend.
My inner child is also my best friend.

Thank you for being my Dad.

Louise Hay
It doesn’t matter how old you are, there is a little child within who needs love and acceptance. If you’re a woman, no matter how self-reliant you are, you have a little girl who’s very tender and needs help. If you’re a man, no matter how macho you are, you still have a little boy inside who craves warmth and affection.

Joel Osteen

Scripture talks about the value of getting both physical exercise and spiritual exercise. Yes, our spiritual development will last into eternity but our physical development helps us to be more effective while we are here on earth. We have to take care of our whole person in order to live balanced life and reach our full potential.

"For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come."
1 Timothy 4:8, NIV

I think I got it

Dear one,

I think I got it.

Benjamin Franklin's thirteen virtue and mindful meditation both help me.

One teaches me to be positive and do the best I can.
One teaches me to breath, relax and accept as it is.

It is the attitude that counts.

Love

Dad

One of the virtue in Benjamin Franklin list is the industry virtue.
Below are the comments from both Louise Hay and Joel Osteen regarding working hard.

Joel Osteen

Anytime we want to have a change though, especially one that will make our lives better, it requires us to believe that it can happen. We have to make a choice to have hope.

Most of us have found ourselves in a place where we were on the edge of loosing something very precious to seemingly everything.
Whether you’ve lost your job, your mortgage is in risk of foreclosure, your relationships are struggling, or you or a loved one needs healing, I want to encourage you to never give up!
It all begins with a choice; the choice to never give up. God always completes in us what He has started; His good work and good plan. (Phillippians 1:6).

“being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Louise Hay

I know that the thoughts in my mind have everything to do with my working conditions, so I consciously choose my thoughts. My thoughts are supportive and positive. I choose prosperity thinking; therefore, I am prosperous. I choose harmonious thoughts; therefore, I work in a harmonious atmosphere. I love getting up in the morning knowing that I have important work to do today. I have challenging work that is deeply fulfilling. My heart glows with pride when I think of the work that I do. I am always employed, always productive. Life is good. And so it is!
When people ask me about my purpose in life, I tell them that my work is my purpose. It is very sad to know that most people hate their jobs and, even worse, that they don’t know what they want to do. Finding your life’s purpose, finding work that you love to do, is loving who you are.

Maybe you are in a job now where you feel stuck, or you hate it, or you find that you are just putting in your time to bring home a paycheck. Well, there are definitely things you can do to make positive changes. The most powerful tool you can use to transform your situation is the power of blessing with love. No matter where you work or how you feel about the place, bless it with love. I mean that literally. Say, “I bless my job with love.” but don’t stop there. Bless with the love the building, the equipment in the building, your desk if you have one, the counter if you work at one, the various machines you may use, the products, the customers, the people you work with, the people you work for, and anything associated with this job. It will work wonders.

If you were raised with the belief that you must “work hard” to earn a living, it is time to let that belief go. Do what you love, and the money will come. Love what you do, and the money will come. You have a right to enjoy earning money. Your responsibility to Life is to participate in enjoyable activities. As you find a way to do something that you enjoy, Life will show you the way to prosperity and abundance. Almost always, that activity is playful and joyful. Our inner guidance never gives us “shoulds.” The purpose of life is to play. When work becomes play, it is fun and rewarding. Remember: You decide what you want your working life to be like. Create positive affirmations to achieve it. Then declare these affirmations often. You can have the working life you want!

Louise Hay
When people start to love themselves more each day, it’s amazing how their lives get better. They feel better. They get the jobs they want. They have the money they need. Their relationships either improve, or the negative ones dissolve and new ones begin.

It’s a very simple premise—loving yourself.

Today is the day you can love yourself totally with no expectations.

Love is something we can choose, the same way we choose anger, or hate, or sadness. We can choose to forgive someone who has hurt us and begin to finally heal. We can choose to be grateful for what we have. We can choose love. It’s always a choice within us.

Joel Osteen
All too often people speak pessimistically about themselves, and in doing so, unintentionally invite negativity into their lives. But a new book by Lakewood megachurch Pastor Joel Osteen reminds readers that words have power, and aims to help people kick the habit of speaking negatively and to invite good things through the power of the tongue.
"You have to invite the right things into your life,"
Osteen teaches readers how to create a narrative of positivity in their lives using the two words "I am," followed by positive affirmations. In the opening chapter, he writes, "What follows those two simple words will determine what kind of life you live."

May you be happy

Dear one,

I thought for a while.

I think in order to succeed in a career, it's probably wise to copy a person who is similar to you.

I think in order to be 健康, 幸運, 美滿, 快樂.  It's important to feel love.  To feel love from family, to feel love from God, to feel love from yourself.

Love

Dad
健康, 幸運, 美滿, 快樂 (happy and fulfilled)
