(Two good friends, Mary and Susan, sat at lunch)

Mary: oh, I admire you
Susan: mm, what do you mean

Mary: You have so many friends
Susan: oh (smiling)

Mary: How do you get so many friends
Susan: I was shy before

Mary: oh
Susan: I started by saying hi to people

Mary: oh
Susan: Then, I add one more sentence.
       Like your shirt looks really cool.

Mary: oh
Susan: (smiling)

We all can do it.
We try the easiest way so we feel good.
We try a little of the hardest things so we feel good.
We make sure we feel good.

Homework

child: oh, dad, i have so much homework
dad:   oh, my dear

child: what should I do?
dad:   which homework is the easiest?

child: Of course, the easiest homework is English
dad:   well, let's start with that

child: (start doing English)

child: (happily)
          oh, dad.  piece of cake.
          I finish my English homework
          what should I do next?
dad:   which one is the easiest now?
child...

A lot of times, we want to be perfect.
We want to complete our goal in a minute.
The thing is that we cannot control how long it takes but
we can control the direction that we are going.
