Watching TV

(The children are watching a TV drama)

The boy: I don't like the ending.  I don't know what it is trying to accomplish.  I like the happy ending

The girl: (look at her brother)

The boy: Gee, this is totally not right.  They have so many different way to end the story.  Why do they need to be this sad?

The girl: (still silent)

Mom:  My dear, close it and find a one that you like

Dad: Walk away

We sometimes focus on something we don't like.   It seems to be better to let it go and find the things we enjoy.    It might not be easy but it seems to be the right thing to do.
