Mom: Here is a math test from Harvard..
Older brother (David): take a look and give an answer
Younger brother (Tom): take a look and give another answer
mom: Tom has the right answer
Younger brother (very proud): I beat you, David. I beat the Berkeley graduate..
Youngest sister (Betty, 6 years old): Looking at Tom screaming..
(Tom wasn't sure what's going on.)
Mom: Betty doesn't like the word, "beat". You probably change the word.
Younger brother: ok. How about I use this word, "I win".
(Betty seems to feel better)
---------------
A lot of times, different people have different logic and words.
As long as everyone tries to understand the meaning of each other and change the words that both people can agree upon.
Then, the world (family) is a happier place.
